Geometric Pillar

A stone sculpture featuring a contrast of materials: soft, weathered limestone and dense, dark basalt. The limestone areas are light beige to pale gray, porous and slightly chalky, with rounded erosion marks, fine surface cracks, and patches of lichen or calcified dust. In contrast, the basalt sections are deep gray to black, with a smoother, denser texture, subtle grain, and occasional fine fractures. Edges where the two stones meet are chipped and uneven, showing signs of age and stress. The overall surface has a natural, time-worn feel, combining softness and strength.
