A large, shelf-like bracket fungus, growing in overlapping layers from the side of a tree trunk. Its tough, woody surface is banded in concentric rings of muted grey, earthy brown, and pale cream, with a velvety texture. The underside is porous and soft. It feels exceptionally hard and dry, yet its outer edge is slightly smoother, creating a rugged, organic, and durable structure.
