PATCH the small discarded pet robot

PATCH was originally maintenance drone #P-47. After his station was abandoned, he waited for years for a new repair assignment. Eventually, he came to the conclusion that humans apparently constantly need repairing, but more on the emotional side. Since then, he has chosen a human and followed them everywhere.
