Aethercoil A serpentine alien made entirely of twisting, ribbon-like strands of energy and muscle. Its head is elongated and mask-like, with no mouth, only a shifting field of shimmering patterns where its face should be. Four wing-like appendages extend from its midsection, each made of woven tendrils that glow faintly blue. Its body coils and uncoils with hypnotic grace, leaving behind rippling distortions in the air. Segments along its length glow brighter when it senses danger, and it emits an eerie, harmonic hum.
