The Monster has sharp teeth, pale eyes, and a large jaw, and appears to have a head about as large as the player. Its eyes are somewhat frog-like due to the way they protrude from its head, as well as their similarly black sclera. The species of the Monster is unknown, though it is speculated that it may be based on a viperfish, as the full head of the Monster appears to be a mirrored and edited side profile of a viperfish. However, the monster also resembles a frogfish, when viewed from the front. Seen from the SM-13's camera, the Monster has a large eye with a dark, round pupil, surrounded by scales. As this image is in black and white, it is unknown what color the scales and eyes are, if they are different from the other images. The size of the eye suggests an incredibly large creature
