A skittering beetle-like creature, roughly the size of a small dog, encased in a segmented, chitinous shell. The carapace is a mottled dark brown and black, appearing smooth yet rigid and resilient. Six spindly legs allow for swift, erratic movement, each ending in sharp claws that click on hard surfaces. Two short, stubby antennae twitch nervously, and its small head features multifaceted, glassy black eyes.
