Inferno Axe

A small, compact double-bladed fantasy axe in a gothic-arcane style. Its blades are tarnished brass with a scorched umber undertone, layered in fine filigree etching and weathered oxidation. Etched runes glow with a smoldering ember-orange hue, flickering subtly like dying coals. The central gem is a translucent bloodstone with a deep crimson core that emits a faint, pulsing inner glow. Blade surfaces are rough and pitted, with shallow scorch marks and worn edges. The handle is wrapped in cracked, soot-darkened leather strips over a charred ashwood core, showing faint chisel marks and heat stress lines. The bottom spike is blackened steel, dulled and chipped, with a gritty matte finish and faint ember dust around the edges.
