Its head is elongated and eyeless, with a wide, jagged mouth filled with uneven teeth. Two antenna-like feelers extend from its forehead, twitching to sense movement. Its limbs are long and spindly, each joint bending at unsettling angles. Fingers are webbed but tipped with hooked claws for tearing prey from thick reeds. Across its back are clusters of glowing egg sacs, each pulsing faintly, suggesting it carries its young externally.
