Its large, domed upper shell displays faded markings, while the hinged lower body is painted with stark black and white diagonal stripes, showing flaked paint and scuffs. Six intricately detailed, gnarled brown legs protrude. The entire piece feels cold, solid, and rough, like aged, distressed metal and wood.
