Transform a smiling mustached desert merchant carrying a woven basket of herbs and pottery into a hyper-realistic wooden carved Rococo-Art Nouveau caricatural statue merged into a monumental waved scrollwork console-pillar. Turban, robes, rope, basket and spices become ornate Middle Eastern arabesques, botanical cartouches and flowing Rococo volutes. Material: polished hardwood with fine anatomical detailing. Polychrome: weary earth browns, ivory, olive, copper and richly aged patina.
