Create Custom DnD Miniatures with AI

Turn a text prompt or reference art into a custom DnD miniature. Meshy generates a full 3D model you can scale to 28mm or 32mm and export as a print-ready STL or 3MF file for your FDM or resin printer.

DnD Miniature Sizes and Scale Guide

DnD Mini Base Sizes by Creature Size

Small and Medium minis sit on a 25mm base, Large on 50mm, Huge on 75mm, and Gargantuan on 100mm. Scale each model to fit the base its creature size needs.

How Tall Is a DnD Mini?

In tabletop scale, "28mm" measures a human figure from foot to eye level, so a finished hero mini often reaches about 32mm to the top of the head. Larger creatures scale up from there — check a DnD mini size chart, then set the exact height in Meshy.

Export Print-Ready DnD Miniature Files

Export your DnD miniature as STL, 3MF, or OBJ, plus FBX, GLB, and USDZ when you need them. STL and 3MF work with every major slicer and 3D printer, and 3MF opens directly in Bambu Studio and other slicers — with a one-click Send to Bambu button on Meshy's paid plans.

The level of texture and ease of the UI are incredible and unmatched. I use way too many 3D tools and this sits at the top of my workflow. Thanks Meshy!

My current go-to for AI 3D model generation tool. The latest Meshy 4 generations have been a huge leap in terms of quality for both text and image to 3D. Plus I've already got lots of value out of the easy biped/quadruped rigging and walking animation option. Also, it's great to see the texturing improvements and the ability to retexture or fix textured sections (via the text-to-3d approach).

It's really blowing my mind how far we've come with text-to-3D. It was only a few months ago we were getting very unimpressive results from tools like Shap-E. Now I can make full on objects that are borderline game ready.

Frequently Asked Questions

Describe your character in a prompt or upload reference art, and Meshy generates a 3D DnD miniature in about a minute. Run Check and Repair for a watertight mesh, scale the mini to 28mm or 32mm, then export an STL or 3MF file to slice and print. You can design your own miniature with no sculpting skills.

Yes. Meshy works as an AI DnD mini maker, so you do not need Blender, ZBrush, or CAD experience. Type what your character looks like or upload concept art, and the AI builds a custom DnD miniature you can adjust, scale, and export for printing.

Most DnD and tabletop miniatures use 28mm or 32mm heroic scale, where 28mm is measured from a human figure's foot to eye level. Larger creatures scale up from there. In Meshy you can set the exact height before export, so each printed mini matches the rest of your collection.

DnD base sizes follow each creature's size category: Small and Medium minis use a 25mm round base, Large a 50mm base, Huge a 75mm base, and Gargantuan a 100mm base. Scale your model in Meshy to fit the base its creature size needs before you print.

Yes. After Check and Repair produces a watertight mesh, export your DnD miniature as a print-ready STL or 3MF file for any slicer. You can also browse ready-made DnD 3D models to download and print. For a full walkthrough, see our guide on how to design 3D printed miniatures.

Yes. Export STL or 3MF and slice for either FDM or resin. Resin captures fine facial and armor detail well for display minis, while FDM suits larger models and terrain. For thin parts like weapons, keep walls above your printer's minimum — about 1.2mm for FDM or 0.5mm for resin — to keep the mini printable.
