A small cylinder of spiced pork sausage encased in flaky puff pastry. The pastry is golden with crisp layered edges and a slight sheen from egg wash. The sausage inside is coarse-ground with visible bits of herbs and fat, reddish-brown and matte. Ends are neatly sealed with pastry folds.
