Its skin is slick, warty, and mottled with patches of luminous algae and barnacles. Four squat, muscular limbs end in webbed hands tipped with hook-like claws. The creature's hunched back is covered with irregular, jagged coral growths, some oozing pale, viscous slime. Its head resembles a distorted, predatory frog – wide, split maw lined with dozens of needle-like teeth, bulbous eyes with vertical pupils glowing faintly yellow.
