Nanny Ogg is a short, stout, matronly witch with grey hair in plaits sticking out from either side of her head and an almost permanent grin showing off her single tooth. Wearing practical black clothing as would be expected of a Lancre witch, she can also be seen putting an apron on when she needs to. Friendly and amiable to everyone including her 15 grown up children, she is however the terror of her many daughters-in-law. Known for her willingness to burst into bawdy and inappropriate songs, she travels under her large witches hat that has multiple pockets, compartments, bottles and other bits attached.
