Bentley

This is Bentley, also known as Benzodipam. For nearly 18 years, Bentley has been by my side through almost every chapter of my life. He has been there for the good days, the difficult ones, the changes, the milestones, and all of the quiet moments in between. He has never cared about where I was in life, what kind of day I was having, or whether everything was going according to plan. He was simply there. Bentley is more than a pet to me. He is family. He is my first fur baby, my little shadow, and one of the longest and most constant relationships of my life. As the years have passed, his face has changed, his steps have slowed, and a little more grey has appeared, but the bond between us has only become stronger. When I thought about what “My Companion” meant, I did not have to invent a character or imagine one. I already had him. Bentley has spent nearly 18 years being my companion. This creation is my way of making a small piece of him last forever.
